Questions

How is the NEET rank predicted from marks?

We use the NEET (UG) 2026 result (re-exam of 21 June 2026, about 20 lakh candidates): NTA’s official score counts — for example 19 candidates above 700, 1,492 at 650+, 10,160 at 600+ and 90,780 at 500+ — plus published marks-vs-rank analyses for the lower bands, and interpolate between them.

How accurate is this NEET rank predictor?

It is a good estimate, not an official result. Difficulty changes every year, and NEET 2027 is a computer-based test with normalised scores across shifts, so the same marks can give a different rank. Treat the range as the realistic band.

What was the NEET 2026 qualifying cut-off?

213 marks for General/EWS (50th percentile) and 177 marks for OBC, SC and ST (40th percentile), as published by NTA with the NEET (UG) 2026 result.

How many marks are needed for a government MBBS seat?

It depends on your state, category and counselling round. As a rough guide from 2026, an All India Rank within about 25,000 (around 590+ marks) has been in the government MBBS range for General candidates; reserved categories and state quotas can go much lower. Always check MCC and your state counselling cut-offs.
